MUMBAI: Naaz cinema, one of Mumbai’s oldest theatres, is now upgraded with an UFO installation.
Rajesh Shah, one of the theatre’s managers, says, “With the courtesy of UFO Moviez’s Pankaj Jaysinh, we have installed the UFO system and it will become operational from 22 June, 2007 with the screening of a Bhojpuri film Purab, starring Manoj Tiwari ‘Mridul’. The theatre has also been renovated. After a long time, we will be screening a first-run Bhojpuri film. We are also holding a ‘premiere show’ on that day and Manoj has agreed to be present.”
Presently, Naaz is showing Namastey London in the matinee show; and Bhojpuri film Tu Hamaar Hau in the other shows. The theatre has a seating capacity of 1,215. The matinee full house collections capacity for the week is Rs 42, 946.05 while the regular 21 shows capacity is Rs 3,04, 022.25.
