MUMBAI: The shooting for Ahmed Khan’s second directorial venture Fool N Final will wind up soon after shooting a promotional song for the film at Yash Raj Studios, that will feature boxing champion Mike Tyson, scheduled to join the unit soon.
Producer Feroz Nadiadwala is reluctant to specify the budget for the promo song but admits that the budget has been hiked after Tyson’s inclusion. The song will be shot for a period of five days across Yash Raj Studios and some outdoor locations as well.
“Fool N Final deals with illegal boxing and Tyson too has been an illegal boxer, so he was a must have for my film,” says Khan, who is choreographing the song himself.
He adds, “The film has three parallel screenplays, wherein all 19 actors have been duly segregated. There was no frame in the film which required all 19 of them together. So I decided to shoot this promotional song and have them together with Mike Tyson.”
The song will also get together all the other songs in the film. It’s a compilation of all the four songs of the film, says Khan. The music of the film has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics have been penned by Sameer.
The music video of the promo song will go on air from 15 May 2007 and the film is scheduled for release on 1 June 2007, it is learnt.
The film stars Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Shahid Kapur, Ayesha Takia, Sameera Reddy, Jackie Shroff, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Arbaaz Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Chunkey Pandey, Gulshan Grover, Vijay Raaz, Zakir Hussain Suresh Menon, Asrani, Sunil Pal and Razzak Khan.
