Narnia: Prince Caspian collects Rs 824 million in India

MUMBAI: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian grossed Rs 824 million (Rs 82,459,932 crores or $ 1,963,332) in India in its opening weekend.

The movie opened on 16 May in India across 359 screens on 331 prints.

The première of the film from the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures was attended by Yukta Mookhey, Shekhar Suman, Aryan Vaid, Naved Jaffery, Aamir Ali, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Kabir Sadanand, Deepak Tijori, Poonam and Sakshi Sinha amongst others.

The costumes and props of the film were also on display at the premiere. India is the first country to display the costumes in the Asian region.
