MUMBAI: Newly formed Rajasthan distribution concern, Roop Rajat Cine Vision has acquired the distribution rights of Just Married and Fool And Final.
The concern, which started out with acquisition of the Priyadarshan directed Bhagam Bhag, also released Nehlle Pe Dehlla for Jagdev Singh Khalsa last Friday.
In the film trade, the Rajasthan territory nets just 25 to 35 per cent of the business garnered by the territory of Bombay.
Says Roop Rajat Vision’s Mohan Gadhvi, “Just Married will be released on 16 March. We are looking at 12 to 15 prints and a dozen digital formats, given the good chain of theatres. Fool And Final is a multi-starrer film, which is slated for a May or June release this year.”
Just Married is produced by Pritish Nandy and has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film stars Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol with Perizaad Zorabian and Bikram Saluja. Pritam Chakraborty has provided the music score. The director’s father, Gulzar has penned the lyrics for the film.
Fool And Final is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala under the banner of Base Industries Group. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film stars Sunny Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Javed Jaffrey, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Arbaaz Khan with Bipasha Basu, Ayesha Takia and Sameera Reddy. Himesh Reshammiya has provided the music score for the film.
