MUMBAI: As more and more songs from Bollywood’s most awaited film of the year ‘Dabangg 2’ are coming out, fans of Salman Khan, across the country are getting super excited.
The latest new addition to the playlist is much anticipated song ‘Pandey Jee Seeti’ featuring the ‘Dabangg’ Khan himself, with wife played by Sonakshi Sinha.
Throughout the video, you will await the hot moves of Malaika Arora Khan, only to be disappointed, because contrary to rumours ‘Munni’ Malaika is NOT in the song!
Chulbul Pandey is seen returning to his cocky, stylish avatar, complete with innovative choreography and dance steps trademark of Salman Khan. Sonakshi Sinha, in a hot pink sari matches his steps with equal cockiness, without any hint of the silent and skulking Rajo of Part 1.
The fully entertaining masala song is in the voices of Wajid, Mamta Sharma (who previously sang ‘Munni badnaam hui’) and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrics by Jalees Sherwani are accompanied by folk instruments like dhol and nagada composed by Salman’s favourite duo Sajid-Wajid.
The lyrics: “Thaana mein baithey on duty, Pandeyji maare Seeti” make you roll with laughter when seen with all the antics the “bad ass” Chulbul Pandey puts on full display!
Sources tell us that fans of hottie Malaika Arora Khan must not be disheartened. As Wajid puts it, “You can’t leave Munni out of ‘Dabangg 2’, but where and when she comes in is a surprise.”
Meanwhile, admirers of the new Mrs. Khan in town can wait for Kareena Kapoor’s sizzling item number titled ‘Fevicol’ for ‘Dabangg 2’ to be out soon!
