Nicollette Sheridan, who played the role of Edie Britt in the famous TV series Desperate Housewives, has apparently approached the court.
Nicollette is said to have filed divorce from husband Aaron Phypers. The divorce is filed on the grounds of irreconcilable difference and is set to break the marriage of the couple who tied the knot secretly 6 months ago.
Reports suggest that the couple parted ways a month ago and started living separately. However, the divorce was filed in the court only last week in Los Angeles. It is also reported that the actress has requested to court to deny any form of spousal support.
Apparently, Phypers is not the first husband of the Desperate Housewives star. The lady supposedly had a string of affairs in the past. Sheridan was married to Harry Hamlin of Mad Men fame from 1991 to 1992. Before that she was dating Leif Garrett from 1979 to 1985. The actress was also engaged to Nicklas Soderblom in 2004 which broke off in 2005. Later, the Golden Globe Award-winning actress got engaged to Michael Bolton in March 2016 however, the engagement too was called off by the couple in August 2008.
The actress was last seen on screen in the movie The Sure Thing that released in 1985.
