MUMBAI: They might have set aside their differences aside and have come together for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. Their chemistry in the film was enough to take the film to top of the box-office and enter the prestigious 100 crore club. But Deepika Padukone has refused to star once again alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Vikram Singh’s ‘Roy.’
“If I am letting go off a script, there might be some reasons attached to it. If I really like a script, the producer and I can always work around the dates. I have taken up only as much work as I can accommodate,” says Deepika Padukone.
With Deepika Padukone ousted from the film, it’s Jacqueline Fernandes who play the lead with Ranbir Kapoor. She will have a double role in the film.
One more reason for Deepika Padukone to refuse the film is the inability to spend time with her family. The actor therefore has not taken up work post ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ and is having plans to take a break and spend some time with her family.
