MUMBAI: A few days ago, we told you a that 34-year-old Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and beau Siddharth Roy Kapur will embrace both their cultures and have a true Punjabi style ‘sangeet’ on December 11 and a Tamil wedding followed by customary rituals on the morning of December 14.
We now hear that rather than choose a grand, glitzy hotel for the wedding function, the couple will get married in Kapur’s parent’s home in the uber posh Jolly Maker Towers in Cuffe Parade.
A friend of the family has explained “The Jolly Maker apartment is much bigger. Besides the Bandra apartment is a rented one. And Siddharth is not sure if he wants to continue with it.”
We also hear that two days after the wedding the ‘oh la la’ girl and hubby will head to the sensuous Caribbean islands for their honeymoon.
Initially, Vidya had planned the cruise with her parents, sister Priya, brother-in-law Kedar and their twins Ira and Ruhaan, minus Siddarth Roy Kapur.
But, looks like Vidya is now intending to keep everyone off the white sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean, earmarked for her honeymoon trail.
Once they return, the couple will head straight to their new home in Juhu – a property Kapur invested in last year itself! For right now though, the actress is busy wrapping up her schedule for ‘Ghanchakkar’ with Emraan Hashmi.
