Priyanka Chopra has been left behind by the Padmavati star Deepika Padukone in the Twitter battle!
The Bollywood beauties Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are very good friends with each other. We have seen them together on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan. But recently, the Padmavati star beat the international icon in a Twitter battle.
Twitter recently released the round-up list of the most followed Indians on the social networking site. And it was Deepika who became the only actress, or we should rather say the only female to make it to the list!

Talking about Deepika’s achievement on Twitter, she left behind all the B-town beauties. As well as the handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan in terms of the number of followers. She was followed by the actor as well as the star cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
The celebs who left behind the Padmavati star are the Indian PM Narendra Modi, the actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan.
Talking about Deepika’s close competition Priyanka, she is not much behind the Padmavati actress. While DP has 22 million followers on Twitter, PeeCee also has 20.6 million of them.
As a matter of fact, Dippy is also ahead of Priyanka on Instagram. But the margin is not too high, as she has just around twenty thousand more followers on the picture sharing site.
Deepika Padukone is a part of the film Padmavati, which has been stuck in a controversy. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra is in Los Angeles, shooting for the third season of the American series Quantico.
