Paramount Licensing inks MoU with Horizon Infra for theme park in India

MUMBAI: Paramount Licensing Inc., the licensing entity of Paramount Pictures Corporation and infrastructure developer Nikhil Gandhi-led Horizon Infrastructure have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a feasibility study to explore the potential for developing a Paramount-branded theme park in India.

The MoU for the study was signed by Paramount Licensing Inc. executive vice president Michael Bartok and Horizon Infrastructure managing director M.P.Vora.

Morris Street Advisors, by Rohit Tiwari, consulted with the parties to identify the theme park development opportunity and negotiate the agreements.

Under the terms of the agreements, Horizon Infrastructure was granted rights to explore and evaluate the feasibility for the project and Paramount will develop creative concepts.

For the theme park study, Horizon will complete the economic feasibility to assess the financial viability of the project in conjunction with a preliminary concept prepared by Paramount. Paramount will utilise its experience in brand licensing and its film library to provide theming for the project and  individual attractions.
