Percept Picture Company (PPC), a division of Percept Limited, announced a strategic alliance in association with Sahara One and Mirah Entertainment in its forthcoming Akshay Kumar starrer 8X10 Tasveer.
Pertinent to note here is that this development has come close to the heels when T- Series announced its exit from the project. Sahara is said to be investing Rs 100 million in the project against 20 percent rights over the film’s exploitation.
PPC is also in talks with another partner for joint exploitation of television rights of the movie 8X10 Tasveer. The music of 8X10 Tasveer was already launched in partnership with T-Series.
Commenting on this partnership Percept Picture Company CEO Navin Shah says, “We have always believed in strategic partnerships. We are confident that our relationship with Sahara One and Mirah Entertainment would grow from strength to strength, offering the finest in entertainment.”
8X10 Tasveer is due for release this Friday, 3 April, 2009. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and starring Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Takia, Sharmila Tagore amongst others.
