MUMBAI: Zee TV has recently turned 20, and what better way to celebrate than by hosting a lavish bash, which saw the most influential Bollywood stars in attendance.
The guest list for the Zee 20 bash included the who’s who of Bollywood: right from Bollywood megastarAmitabh Bachchan, to the ruling Khans, Shah Rukh and Aamir; they were all present to celebrate the twentieth birthday of their favourite TV channel.
Amitabh Bachchan was one of the earliest guests to walk the red carpet at the Zee 20 bash, and was seen interacting with Zee founder Subhas Chandra. Sushmita Sen made an early entry, and was seen in a pale gold mini dress and matching pumps. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani was seen entering the do with his wife Nita, while Aamir ‘reclusive’ Khan came in solo, sporting a black tee and a sprained wrist (probably from all that action while shooting for ‘Dhoom 3’).
Shah Rukh Khan made a dapper entry in black, and was seen mingling with his best friend Karan Johar. Johar in turn, champagne glass in hand, couldn’t resist showing something on his blackberry to UTV honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur, who looked on intently.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn came midway through the bash, and were seen in blue and white respectively. Director Kunal Kohli was seen posing for pictures with TV’s favourite anchor Mandira Bedi, while TV star Sakshi Tanwar came in a heavy blue sari and a red flower in her flowing tresses. TV and film actor Ronit Roy (of ‘Midnight’s Children’ fame) was seen on the red carpet in a classic grey suit, while Sonu Sood went casual in a blue tee and jeans. Rahul Bose and Fardeen Khan were also spotted at this glamourous, star-studded Bollywood do.
