CALIFORNIA: It was a glittering night full of glamour, haute couture and unexpected revelations at the 70th Golden Globes Awards held at the Oasis Courtyard in The Beverly Hilton Hotel, California on January 13, 2013.
Amongst a slew of Hollywood celebrites was present our very own Tabu, with ‘Life of Pi’ Director Ang Lee and actor Suraj Sharma.
Going the traditional way, Tabu impressed us with her graceful red sari and mirror work golden blouse. Her film ‘Life of Pi’ bagged an award (Best Original Score), and was also nominated for the best motion picture (drama) as well as for best director (motion picture).
Among the host of internationally renowned stars we spotted our favorite ‘Bond’ Daniel Craig. His latest 007 flick won the best original Song in a movie award for Adele’s ‘Skyfall’
We saw the ‘New Girl’ Zooey Deschanel looking uber cute in a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown, apparently freezing herself, but still managing to look pretty.
Style wise it was a buffet full of eclectic sartorial choices, which would make any fashionista go dizzy with happiness. While Lucy Liu carried a curious little Carolina Herrera, Jennifer Lawrence (who walked away with the Best Actress – Comedy/Musical) wore a lovely strapless red Dior gown cinched at the waist. Jessica Chastain (who took home the Best Actress – Drama), sizzled on the red carpet in a daringly low cut ice blue Calvin Klein.
Also seen were Hollywood biggies Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson and many more. Check out the amazing photos for yourself!
