MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi was seen offering prayer for the success of his film ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ at Haji Ali Dargah, Mumbai. The actor was wearing a navy blue shirt with denims and Ray Ban Aviators.
‘Ek Thi Daayan’ is a supernatural thriller with Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Kalki Koechlin and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, music is by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics by Gulzar. Directed by Kannan Iyer the film is already receiving positive reviews from the critics.
The film follows the story of a stage magician named ‘Bobo’ played by Emraan Hashmi who discovers a horrifying story in course of his hypnosis which is about a sinister power called ‘Daayan’ who has destroyed his entire family and promises to return to hunt down ‘Bobo’.
‘Bobo’ ignores the entire hypnosis experience and decides to go about his life as usual, and then life takes a twist in the as ‘Bobo’ falls in love with the irresistible Lisa Dutt (played by Kalki Koechlin) and as events unveil, to his his horror, ‘Bobo’ gets convinced that Lisa is the ‘Daayan’.
But whether she is the actual ‘Daayan’ or just a trickery of Bobo’s mind? Is something we’ll have to find out for ourselves!
