MUMBAI: Such a frenzy could only be caused by the one and only Shah Rukh Khan! Yesterday, the team of ‘Chennai Express’ released the much-anticipated first trailer of the film, and, needless to say, the event was a super hit!
Hero Shah Rukh Khan, who is playing the role of a 40 year-old in ‘Chennai Express’, was the centre of attention as he cracked witty jokes and humorous asides, entertaining and endearing the media present at the event. In a simple blue tee, faded jeans and a smart navy blazer, the handsome superstar looked super excited to be unveiling the trailer.
SRK’s gorgeous co-star Deepika Padukone too had everyone in splits, putting on a Tamilian accent that she sports in the film. Deepika was seen in a stunning off-white ensemble. The duo even recited some of the hilarious dialogues from the film, while SRK sang ‘Meherbani’ as an added bonus.
The director of ‘Chennai Express’, Rohit Shetty too joined in the fun. Also present at the trailer launch were producers Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala, and the music directors Vishal and Shekhar. Shibani Dandekar was the compere for the event.
‘Chennai Express’ releases on 8 August, 2013 and will be a typical Rohit Shetty styled entertainer.
