MUMBAI: It’s that time of year again, when the biggest and brightest Bollywood style czarinas bring out their Sunday best, and make an appearance at the glitzy, glamorous Lake Fashion Week.
Day 1 of the LFW Winter edition saw a huge turnout, with several of Bollywood’s beautiful divas take to the ramp and strut their stuff.
As expected, celebrated Bollywood couturier Manish Malhotra’s show saw the who’s who of Bollywood, both on and off the catwalk.
Sexy Bollywood belles like Karisma Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Kajol, Lara Dutta and Neha Dhupia took to the ramp, while filmmaker Karan Johar, choreographer Marc Robinson and the svelte Jacqueline Fernandes cheered them on from the aisles.
Kajol looked stunning in a black net anarkali, while Lara Dutta shone in an equally elegant black layered frock. In contrast, Karisma Kapoor’s ensemble was a demure white and red salwar suit, while veteran actress Shabana Azmi was seen in her signature style on the catwalk.
1990’s leading lady Urmila Matondkar graced the event and walked down the ramp in a sunshine yellow signature Manish Malhotra creation.
