PHOTOS: Shah Rukh Khan Discharged, “I Will Recover Soon”

Shah Rukh Khan, who sustained a shoulder injury during the shoot of ‘Chennai Express’, was discharged from Lilavati hospital, after undergoing surgery.

MUMBAI: Injuries during film shoots are a part and parcel of a film. But it seems to have been attached to Shah Rukh Khan. The actor in the past has, had problems with his back, shoulder, and has undergone several surgeries. 

While this shoulder of Shah Rukh Khan was due for surgery, since the shoot of Ra.One, the actor was ignorant about it. The pain got excruciating, when he was shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’ and the actor had no option, but to go for a surgery again.

The actor was admitted to the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai and the surgery was performed on Monday. His son Aryan, flew from London to beside the star. Also wife, Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana was there beside Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan was discharged on Wednesday, after the successful completion of the surgery. As he walked out of the hospital, media was quick to surround him.

“I thank all my fans for their wishes. I will recover soon and entertain again,” said Shah Rukh Khan, who was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue denims and had his right shoulder and arms wrapped in a golden sling.

We know, Shah Rukh Khan, you must be in terrible pain, but we laud your efforts to brave the crowd outside the Lilavati hospital. Get well soon.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chennai Express’ is set to release on 8 August.
