Piku’s Thunder Stolen By Salman Khan’s Hit And Run Case?

Since May 6, Salman Khan’s fans as well as whole country has been disheartened after the actor was sentenced for five years of jail. On the other hand Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ team was busy with the promotions, which released today.

With unique star cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan, Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’ has already been loved by people. But somewhere it seems Salman Khan’s hit and run case verdict diverted all the attention from the film.

Well, the movie has been promoted well and certainly, rides on the star power of Big B and Deepika. Irrfan adds to the quality of the movie and his chemistry with Deepika has had everyone talking. The unlikely pair of Deepika and Irrfan might just be the surprise package of the movie.

The film also comes close to Sunny Leone’s ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, which also released today on May 8.

Following Salman Khan’s hit and run case; the actor was announced sentence for five years and was granted two days interim bail till May 8. Bollywood celebs that were saddened by the verdict rushed to meet Salman Khan at his residence. Since last two days B-Town celebs are visiting Salman Khan. Today morning, high court has announced no jail for the actor. For now Salman Khan’s sentence is suspended. The actor has to apply for the fresh bail today again.

When the entire country was in shock and saddened by the news where Salman Khan was sentenced for five years jail on May 6, the actor is put to big relief now.
