MUMBAI: Essar Telecom Retail, the one stop mobile solution retail chain has announced a strategic partnership with music and home entertainment retail chain Planet M. The MobileStore has started rolling out its operations in 40 Planet M stores across the country.
The shop-in-shop stores will offer total telecom products and solutions like multi brand handsets, accessories, mobile connections recharges etc. Customers can also avail buybacks and handset repairs through the stores. The objective of the tie-up is to offer customers a unique combination of music, movies and mobiles all under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion Essar Telecom Retail CEO Rajiv Agarwal said, “The joint venture with Planet M will give both the companies a common platform to target the potential young consumer base and offer them a bouquet of products and services from mobile to movies, accessories to music under one roof.â€Â
Times Retail CEO Ajay Mehra added, “Mobile phones are becoming the most significant devices as far as the music consumption is concerned. Planet M sees this alliance as an opportunity to reach the customers.â€Â
