WHAT! Prabhas Ate 15 Varieties Of Biryani While Shooting For Baahubali 2

Baahubali 2 SS Rajamouli Prabhas

Prabhas, although on a diet, used to have a cheat meal day once in a month!

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series has indeed set a benchmark for the other Indian films. The film became the first one to enter the Rs 1000 crore club. And all of this was possible due to the great vision of the director and the hard work of the actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.

All of us know how the actor had transformed himself for the magnum opus and that obviously needed a strict diet. But do you all know that Prabhas used to have a cheat meal day once a month? Yes, a cheat meal day – when he could ignore his daily diet and have whatever he wanted to!

During an interaction with the students of British Film Institute, SS Rajamouli talked about some interesting incidents from the sets of the film. He told everyone how he did not put any pressure on Prabhas for his diet and let the man alone decide what to have and what not to have.

Also, recalling those funny meals, Rajamouli said, “Once in a month, they will have a cheat meal day. On that day, you should see the kind of display Prabhas has. 10-15 kinds of biriyanis, just biriyanis. No exaggeration. You don’t even know those varieties of biryanis even exist. Varieties of fish, chicken, mutton, and not just curries, even fries. You can’t just imagine the kind of display he has.”

He added on saying, “We played football that day until 2 AM, and after finishing the game, he came and sat down to eat with all the varieties of food displayed in front of him. Prabhas asked his brother in law, where is the chutney. His brother in law went to his home, woke up his wife at 2 AM, made the chutney and brought it to the spot. Prabhas first ate that and continued eating (the rest of the dishes). So, that is Prabhas for you.”
