MUMBAI: Dancer, choreographer, actor and now director Prabhu Deva is really going places. On Sunday evening he flew to Bangkok to shoot an ad with cricketer Virat Kohli.
A first for Prabhu Deva. He has never shot an ad before. Said the multi-faceted Deva, “I am excited because a story has to be told within less than a minute. That’s a challenge because I’ve never shot an ad before, and that too with someone as well-known as Virat who is not from cinema.”
Not willing to divulge any more details Prabhu clammed up. But one got to know the Prabhu-Virat combination gets together for an ad for a shoe company. “It’s got plenty of action, and a little bit of dancing. Virat wanted to be projected as a filmy hero ,” says a source.
