Prabhudeva to open dance school

MUMBAI: After running a successful dance school in Singapore, actor-turned-director Prabhudeva has decided to start a dance school in Bengaluru, India and plans to call it ‘Navarasa’. His school in Singapore teaches kids all kinds of dance.

"However, because of my busy schedule, I would need someone to take care of the school," he says. Eventually though, he wishes to make the dance academy international by opening up another academy in the US.

He has plans to move his base to Mumbai and pursue Bollywood a lot more seriously, but dancing will always be his priority. “Dancing on screen may take a backseat when it comes to juggling between direction and acting, but I’m always dancing off screen, so it’s not like I miss it ever,” says the director.

After two hits in Bollywood, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Prabhudeva is busy shooting for Remo D’Souza’s 3D dance flick, ‘Any Body Can Dance’.
