MUMBAI: The stage was set. The guest list was drawn up. The food and beverages was catered from exclusive hoteliers. Bollywood’s biggest names in attendance. All this and more at the Ambani party at their palatial residence ‘Antilla’.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the industrialists Ambani family threw a huge bash for their friends in Bollywood. And a lot transpired at this very stylish dinner party for the exclusive friends of the Ambanis.
Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan once again ignited rumours of their “more than friendship relationship” at this bash. For Priyanka managed to stay on at ‘Antilla’ until the wee hours of the morning, all the while when her dear friend Shah Rukh Khan was closeby. What was interesting to note was that Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan was not at the party, and perhaps this gave the lovely Ms Chopra courage to stick on at the party.
For just a few days ago, Miss Chopra beat a hasty retreat upon the arrival of SRK with his wife Gauri, at Vidya Balan’s post wedding party. Apparently, all eyes were firmly on SRK and Gauri (who was driven to the venue with Hrithik and Sussanne), who walked into that party just after midnight. Just as they did, reportedly Priyanka Chopra who had reached the party barely 15 minutes earlier, made a quick exit, so as to avoid an ugly confrontation.
Also present at the star-studded Ambani party were Anupam Kher, Suniel and Mana Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, AR Rahman, Sonam Kapoor, Leander Paes, Riteish Deshmukh and Kiran Rao sans her hubby Aamir Khan. Needless to say, it was a very formal, black-tie event for the uber stylish Bollywood stars.
