Mumbai: NDTV Lumière, the initiative to bring contemporary world cinema to India, has released the critically acclaimed Spanish thriller The Orphanage. Starting 30 May, the film will be screened every evening at PVR Cinemas in Gurgaon and Select City Walk in Saket.
The Orphanage is a beautifully crafted, frightening and ultimately moving story in which restless spirits provoke fear and solace in equal measures for the grieving members of the waking world, stars Spanish actor Belèn Rueda and Geraldine Chaplin (the grand-daughter of Charlie Chaplin).
This horror/thriller is directed by the award winning young filmmaker Juan Antonio Bayona and is produced by the renowned Guillermo Del Toro.
