Pyramid Saimira adds 18 screens in April

MUMBAI: Multiplex chain Pyramid Saimira Theatre has been bullish on its expansion plans. The company, which has a presence in South India, has added 18 new screens this month (April 2007) in various cities.


With these new additions, the company has added 11,587 multiplex seats this month. As of now, the company has a total of 24,728 multiplex seats.


The multiplexes that were added this month are as follows: ARRS Multiplex in Salem (five screens, seating capacity – 3010); Bala Saravana in Senji (two screens, seating capacity – 913); Woodlands – Symphony in Chennai (two screens, seating capacity – 1713); Babu Complex in Kanchipuram (three screens, seating capacity – 1726); Ajanta Ellora in Karur (two screens, seating capacity – 1264); Amutha- Pon Amutha in Karur (two screens, seating capacity – 1223) and Kalai Arangam — Kavithalaya in Karur (two screens, seating capacity – 1732).
