The movie opened better in North India and especially in Delhi as compared to Bombay city. The movie also garnered a good response in cities like Indore, Jaipur, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
While the morning shows across many multiplex cinemas on Frinday was running to 70 – 80 percent capacity, a slump was witnessed for afternoon shows with the occupancy dropping below 50 percent.
However, theatre officials say that the advance booking for Friday’s evening shows was already approximately 60 percent and hence the evening shows should fair well with a sizeable amount of current sale of tickets at the box office.
