MUMBAI: After winning the Bigg Boss reality show title on Sony, Rahul Roy’s career has taken a new turn. The actor is planning to start his own film production venture and has also launched an internet portal called www.donecard.com.
Roy’s film venture will kick off by the end of September this year. “I want to direct films with the launch of my production venture,” he says. Roy has earlier tried his luck at direction with Sudhakar Bokade’s Mera Joota Hain Japani, however the project couldn’t take off.
Talking about his own online venture, www.donecard.com, he adds, “I have always been amazed by the potential of online business and finally decided to invest in donecard.com. The portal offers a wide range of services from paying mobile bills to booking cinema tickets. I’m also planning to launch another website in the coming time that would touch a broader base.”
At the moment Roy has three films in hand – Ada opposite Ayesha Julka, Dated and Soul Rain.
