Rajinikanth Turns 63: Super Birthday Celebrations In Bangalore

He is one of the biggest superstars of South Indian cinema and after almost four decades, Rajinikanth‘s magic still hasn’t faded. Rajinikanth, who turned sixth three today, December 12, 2103, is said to be celebrating his birthday in Bangalore.

As customary his fans have organized special prayers and welfare activities to celebrate their idol’s birthday. If this was not enough, several auto drivers decorated their auto rickshaws with photographs of Rajinikanth and the number 64 written in bold alongside them. This was in tribute to Rajinikanth’s memorable role as an auto driver in Baasha.

An offering of one hundred and eight gold coins was held at the Raghevendra Temple in T Nagar, Chennai. His fan associations also distributed food and gifts to the poor. Blood and eye donation camps have also been organized at various places by fans.

Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth, on occasion of her husband’s birthday informed the media that they will soon share some good news about Kochadaiiyaan.

Rajinikanth started his life as a bus conductor in Bangalore and went on to become one of the most powerful performaners on celluloid. His journey started from a small role in his mentor K Balachander’s film Aboorva Ragangal in 1975 and since then the going has been strong.

He broke many stereotypes of a hero, including holding a cigarette with much style while mouthing dialogues in his own inimitable way, which made many go crazy.

Rajinikanth has two daughters Aishwarya R Dhanush and Soundarya R Ashwin. Aishwarya is married to Dhanush, who is already a big star in South and recently made an impressive Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa. Soundarya is married to Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist.

Rajinikanth is currently working in his daughter Soundarya’s film Kochadaiiyaan, a 3D film, starring Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff and Tamil actor Sarathkumar.

Rajinikanth is very humble yet an outspoken human being. He has till date not forgotten from where he stared. Hats off!
