The film motivated people to protest for what is necessary. The laymen adopted every possible means for their quota protests and the media pointed out that it was ‘Rang De Basanti’ style. Also the film was widely appreciated for its strong content and power packed performances.
Rang De Basanti created such an impact that school children used to hum the songs from the movie, especially ‘Roobaroo’. Speaking about this, Rakeysh said he feel the song is the soul of the film.
The video also triggers a feeling of patriotism and makes you question ‘What are you doing to bring about the change you want to see?’
