The most wanted criminal Veerappan has a history of killing 900 elephants, 184 people and 97 police officials. The film ‘Killing Veerappan’ is undoubtedly going to be filled with curiosity with such an unbelievable concept. The trailer of the film is already making rounds for its mind triggering glimpse. Audiences are already looking forward for the film with such a drastic trailer.

However, even though there is a silver lining to the project, Ram Gopal Varma is not away from a hassle. The film ‘Killing Veerappan’ has already landed in a legal hassle. A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court seeking an interim stay on the release of the film. The plea is filed citing that there is a lot of false information involved in the movie.

The petition filed also states that the film ‘Killing Veerappan’ falsely targets the wife of Veerappan of having killed many innocent people. The plea also suggests that there is a negative representation of the police authorities and politicians of Tamil Nadu in the movie.

The film ‘Killing Veerappan’ stars actors Shivaraj Kumar, Sandeep Bharadwaj and Parul Yadav. The plea was filed against the movie ‘Killing Veerappan’ after the petitioner watched the trailer. The controversial film is scheduled to release on January 1st, 2016.
