Yes, you read that right! The two ‘rivals’, current Bollywood heartthrobs together on screen for the first time and it’s not in an award function. Exciting, no?
We would have expected some controversies, but seems like the two stars had a blast together.
When Ranveer was asked about his experience at the song launch of his Befikre number YouandMe, he said, “Ranbir and I had a blast on Koffee with Karan. We gave Befikre replies.”
Seems like the contemporaries also learned something from each other. When asked if he found period films more difficult than romcoms, Ranveer said, “It is different for each actor. The other day I was hearing Ranbir speak. And he said something that may answer your question. According to him it’s more difficult to act in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil because when you don’t have a distinctive character to play, you have to bring your own personality to it. What you find challenging as an actor, another may not find. I don’t know what is more difficult or less difficult. I know that I am blessed to be working in films and I do my best.”
They are not rivals! Clearly not! Such healthy competition; so refreshing to see this!
