The actress during a press conference on her birthday said, “Besides Jazbaa, there are other scripts I have given the go ahead. I was wondering whether I should announce them today, but with due respect to the director and producer, I shall do it with them in future. Other announcements I will do it with the directors I am going to work with. But it’s an exciting and busy year ahead” and since then reports are doing rounds that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been approached by Karan Johar for his next directorial venture”
Earlier it was Aamir Khan who was reportedly the main lead opposite Aishwarya, but now according to the reports it is now Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma who will be the leads romancing each other and Aishwarya Rai will have a pivotal role to play. Ranbir, Anushka and Karan will be seen sharing screen space in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. Well, we wonder how true is it or it will turn out to be, but if this happens, it will make of an interesting casting for Karan Johar’s comeback into direction.
