Ranbir Kapoor Walked Out Of Hrithik Roshan Starrer Jodhaa Akbar!

During the promotions of his upcoming film, the actor said that he walked out of Hrithik Roshan starrer superhit film Jodhaa Akbar. Yes, during an interview with his Bombay Velvet co-stars Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma and director of the film Anurag Kashyap, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he walked out of Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodhaa Akbar.

While playing the game of “I Have or I Have Never”, the team of Bombay Velvet was asked if anyone of them have ever walked out of a film, to which Ranbir held the “I Have” card and said “Yes, I have”. When asked which film, the actor said Jodhaa Akbar. He also shared that his this act made his father, Rishi Kapoor, very upset and since then, Ranbir has never walked out of a film.

Well, to Ranbir’s this confession, filmmaker Karan Johar reacted quite surprisingly. Of course, Jodhaa Akbar, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned out to be one of the super hit films of the year. If only Ranbir had known!

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bombay Velvet is just around the corner as the film releases this week on Friday, May 18. The film will take us on a journey of Johnny Balraj, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who sets out fighting all the odds just to fulfill his dream of becoming a “Big Shot” in the city. The film will mark Karan Johar’s full-fledged acting debut in Bollywood with this film Bombay Velvet. The film also stars Anushka Sharma , Kay Kay Menon, Raveerna Tandon and Manish Chaudhary.
