Censor Chief’s Reaction Over Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor’s Excess Kissing Scenes In Befikre

Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor just cannot stop kissing in their upcoming film ‘Befikre’. The few looks from the film have released and they see the two leads kissing each other. All of ‘Befikre’s posters are filled with intimate kisses. The movie is already assumed to be extremely romantic. The movie is set in the city of love, Paris. Well, even if the audience is loving this high dosage of romance, the film will have to face some troubles when it comes to the Censor Board.

Ranveer and Vaani starrer film is already in the limelight for its love scenes. The Censor Board which is known for giving aggressive cuts to the films is likely to do the same with this romantic flick. Daniel Craig’s ‘Spectre’ was ordered a massive cut for a lip lock scene. The following order also met with loads of criticism.

Likewise, ‘Udta Punjab’ was also in the news for being in a tiff with the Censor Board. ‘Befikre’s song Labon Ka Karobar is already released but on the internet. The song only has lip locks and nothing else which is likely to irk the Board.

The track apparently has approx. 30 lip locks and a few other scenes too! The Chief of Censor Board Pahlaj Nihalani commented on the same saying that the song is out on the internet and hence is out of their purview. He added that the kissing scenes in ‘Befikre’ will be seen as per the context as it is based in Paris where public affection is the norm. Nevertheless, the final decision will be made when the film reaches the panel.

‘Befikre’ is all set to hit the screens on December 09, 2016.
