Mumbai: Reliance Big Entertainment has tied up with T-Series for the release of Karzzzz starring Himesh Reshammiya.
Reliance Big Entertainment will release the film directed by Satish Kaushik, which is a remake of Karz directed by Subhash Ghai.
Reliance has acquired the world theatrical, internet and satellite rights for the film. This is Reshammiya’s second venture where he combines his acting skills with his musical talent. Reshammiya’s earlier film was Aap Ka Surroor.
T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar says, "We are pleased to associate with Reliance Big Entertainment and hope this is the start of a very successful association wherein the combined might of T-Series and Reliance Big Entertainment will result in many more successful ventures."
Reliance Big Entertainment president Rajesh Sawhney said, "We are delighted to present a potent combination of talented Himesh and the classic hit Karz. We are confident that the Karzzzz will remake history. We look forward to launching great projects under the ambit of this relationship."
Reshammiya will also score a hat trick by acting, singing and composing the music for the film.
Kumar added, "Himesh is a very dedicated music director and actor. He has worked on himself and created a niche in such a short while, a success story that very few can boast of in Bollywood."
The rest of the star cast include Urmila Matondkar, Raj Babbar, Danny Denzongpa, Gulshan Grover, Rohini Hatangadi and debutante Shweta Kumar (the daughter of filmmaker Inder Kumar).
