MUMBAI: Reliance BIG TV (RBTV), the Direct-to-Home (DTH) service provider, has expanded its content offering. The DTH provider will be airing Marathi plays from 1 July to 10 August, 2010.
The show includes celebrated works from Marathi theater such as Purush, Raigada La Jevha Jaag Yete, Mee Nathuram Godse Boltoay, Hasva Fasvi, Ranaangan Tee Phool Rani and Kusum Manohar Lele.
Aired exclusively on Reliance BIG TV’s Choice Pay Channel (CPC), these plays will be available for Rs 25.
Reliance BIG TV senior vice president Umesh Rao said, “This is a small initiative from our side to promote Marathi art and culture. This will surely open the doors for our audience to the rich and timeless world of Marathi theatre.”
