MUMBAI: CASBAA has added two new corporate members this month. Following four new memberships in July, Reliance Communications, part of Reliance ADAG, as well as fashion and entertainment content specialist FashionOne TV have joined CASBAA.
Reliance Communications, with a customer base of over 117 million mobile subscribers, is ranked among the top five telecom companies in the world. Reliance ADAG is also a DTH operator and has business interests in broadcasting, cable TV distribution and film production. “The CASBAA Board of Directors believe the participation in the association of such Indian companies as Reliance fits perfectly with a global outlook. Reliance’s membership is also an endorsement of CASBAA’s growing relevance in India,” said CASBAA CEO Simon Twiston Davies.

US-based FashionOne TV is a division of integrated entertainment company Bigfoot Entertainment with new studio facilities in Cebu in the Philippines distributing fashion and entertainment news around the world via three satellites.
