Bollywood actress Richa Chadda who got applause for her best acting performance in upcoming film Masaan at Cannes Film Festival has resumed the shooting for her another next venture ‘Cabaret’ directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi.
The first look of Richa Chadda from the film was revealed by the official page of ‘Cabaret’ on micro-blogging site twitter. The actress is seen in unseen look with her co-star Jyoti Rana. In smoky eye makeup with sizzling outfit, Richa looks hot as ever in her new avatar for her upcoming film Cabaret.
Earlier producer Pooja Bhat had took to her twitter account complementing Riccha’s look in the film.. She tweeted, “Those who’ve dismissed Richa Chadda as ‘un-glamorous’ will ‘eat their words”.
Richa Chadda is currently in Jaipur, finishing her first schedule of the film. The actress will be seen playing small town girl as a cabaret dancer who has a dream to be big. The film also stars Hunterrr actor Gulshan Devaiah.
Cabaret, as the name suggest is based on the dance and reportedly the film is likely to be inspired by yesteryear cabaret queen Helen’s life. However, there is no confirmation by the makers of the movie yet.
Co-produced by Pooja Bhatt, the movie is being directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and produced by Fisheye Network private limited and is slated to release by the end of 2015.
