Heroine

Drama. Emotion. Mystery. High Fashion. Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming ‘Heroine’ seems to have it all.

The theatrical trailer has just been released, and if the promos are anything to go by, then Kareena Kapoor is going to possibly deliver the best performance of her career.

The promo describes the movie as the story of a girl who lives a new life everyday. The first audio you hear asks the question “Who will sign her? She is moody, sanki, over emotional.” This, apparently, is the description for every heroine whether in Bollywood or Hollywood. This gives us a fair idea of what we can look forward to.

Realistic scenes of Kapoor waving to the public in a mall, clamoring fans, press photographers furiously shooting away — give a clear glimpse of what you can expect on 21 September. Some strong, effective dialogues help showcase of behind-the-scenes account of the reality behind the world of glitz and glamour that filmstars inhabit.

Kareena looks ready to carry the movie, making a strong first impression in well designed costumes and toned body. Like director Madhur Bhandarkar’s previous films, Heroine too, is an attempt to depict real life. We just hope it is much different from his previous production, Priyanka Chopra-starrer ‘Fashion’.
