The Pretty Woman star Richard Gere and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi are dating in secret, says a source.
They have been quietly spending time together, ‘It is all very new and recent, and happened while he has been filming in New York,’ added a source.
In September 2013, Richard Gere and his wife of eleven years, Carey Lowell, fifty three, announced they were separating. They have one son together, fourteen year old Homer. Gere was also married to Cindy Crawford for four years before their divorce in 1995.
Padma Lakshmi is a former Playboy model, having posed for the famous men’s magazine in 2012. She has one daughter, 4-year-old Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell, with ex-boyfriend, Adam Dell. Previously, she was married to novelist Salman Rushdie for three years before their divorce in 2007. Lakshmi was also in a serious relationship with Princess Diana‘s ex, billionaire Teddy Forstmann, until he died of brain cancer in 2011 at age seventy one.
So hopefully Richard Gere and Padma Lakshmi will have better luck this time around.
