The 2008 hit film Rock On is coming up with its sequel this year. The movie has been in search for the best actress in the lead role from long time. And guess what the makers have found the actress for the lead role, and its none other than Aashiqui 2 heroine Shraddha Kapoor.
Rock On 2 is been directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani starring Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, and Purab Kohli in lead roles.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani posted on twitter to welcome Shraddha Kapoor for Rock on 2.

Earlier there were reports that Prachi Desai will be seen playing a small role in the movie. But later the producer of the movie cleared that Prachi is playing an important role in the movie.

Alia Bhatt was also offered the role of that girl of the band member who replaces Luke Kenny whose character died in ‘Rock On’. But, the actress rejected the approach as she chose Udta Punjab over Rock On 2.
Recently Shraddha Kapoor has wrapped up the shooting of ABCD 2 with actor Varun Dhawan. The actress has sung beautifully in her previous movie Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2. We obviously expect to sing her in Rock On 2 which is an music centric film.
