MUMBAI: Rohit Shetty plans to commence work on three mega budget films this year.
Shetty, who has directed Zameen and Golmaal, says, “I have three films lined up. The first one to go on the floors is Kumar Mangat’s Sunday, starring Ajay Devgan, Irrfan Khan, Ayesha Takia and Arshad Warsi. This film mounts the sets on 10 March 2007 in Mumbai, followed by a 40-day shooting schedule from 18 March 2007 in Delhi.”
“The second one is produced by Rohan Sippy and features Nana Patekar and Kunal Kapoor. It is as yet untitled and will go on the floors in May; and the third one is Golmaal 2, which I will be directing for Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision in October – November. Golmaal 2 will star Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. We are hoping all three films release by the end of this year.”
