Sachin to direct his fourth Hindi film

MUMBAI: Actor-producer-director Sachin Pilgaonkar is all set to direct his fourth Hindi film.


 


“My fourth Hindi film as a director is currently in the scripting stages and will be a comedy. It will be launched in July or August. Apart from this, I cannot reveal more at this stage,” Pilgaonkar says.


 


Pilgaonkar had directed Prem Deewane in 1992 for Ashok Ghai (brother of Subhash Ghai), starring Madhuri Dixit, Pooja Bhatt and Vivek Mushran, followed by Azmayish in 1995 and Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai in 1996. He has directed many TV serials and Marathi films. His last Marathi film was Navra Mazha Navsacha in 2004, which celebrated its silver jubilee. He has also directed a Kannada film


 


As an actor, Pilgaonkar is replaying his original in Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay.



”I have directed a Kannada film Ekadhantha, which is based on my own novel Salaa Naa Gade written in 1982. It has a lot of comedy elements with a religious touch.”
