MUMBAI: Sahara One Motion Pictures chief operating officer Sharang Sharma has called it quits.
Sharma will hold office till the end of February. He has been with the company for two years and five months.
Confirming the same to Businessofcinema.com, Sharma says, “I did many ventures at Sahara first as the distribution head, then as the business head. My contribution makes me feel proud and I feel it’s the right time to move out. I always wanted to quit on a high note,” avers Sharma.
Sharma’s replacement has not yet been announced. Sharma also refused to comment on his next move.
At Sahara One Motion Pictures, Sharma recently set up distribution offices overseas and distributed their in-house films.
Prior to joining Sahara, Sharma was the national distribution manager at Sony Pictures Releasing of India.
As has already been reported by Businessofcinema.com, Sahara One Motion Pictures recently appointed Adlabs international sales head Sharath Pal as head of distribution and syndication business.
