MUMBAI: After dating for almost five years and having the media and their fans suspended in high curiosity of the wedding date it seems like lovebirds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are going to find the D-Day in 2012 after all!
Apparently, in both the Kapoor and Khan households, wedding preparations have begun in full swing, and mother of the groom – Sharmila Tagore, has even started sending out the invites.
Last month Sharmila had disclosed to a daily that the wedding will be attended by close family members only and the ceremonies will be held in Delhi and Mumbai. Rumors about Copacabana or Maldives being the wedding venue were rubbished.
Kareena is expected to wear Sharmila’s bridal Sharara on her wedding day. As for the other occasions – it will be her favorite designer Manish Malhotra – ofcourse.
During Delhi Couture Week last month Manish had confirmed, “We are yet discussing what functions she’s going to have. Just the other day I was at her house and I was discussing with her. So it’s on the way.”
