MUMBAI: Sajid Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez have called it quits. While Jacqueline seems to be upbeat about being casted in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘KICK’ opposite Salman Khan, what comes as news is that her ex-flame Sajid Khan has happily replaced her with Esha Gupta.
Jacqueline Fernandez and Sajid Khan were not keen on working together, so this does not come as a huge surprise.
Esha Gupta has earlier acted in Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Raaz 3’. She also has shared screen space with Emraan Hashmi in ‘Jannat 2’ and had a miniscule role in Prakash Jha’s ‘Chakravyuh.’
Sajid Khan’s next film is tentatively titled ‘ Humshakal’ and apparently is an inspiration of the cult film ‘Angoor’.
A source close to Sajid Khan says, “There are three female leads in the film and the third one will be finalized soon.” Also ‘Himmatwala’ actress Tamanna Bhatia is also a part of this project.
With Jacqueline Fernandez out and Esha Gupta in, Sajid Khan surely seems to have taken a sweet revenge on his ex. We wonder if Esha’s ‘HIT’ fortune would do well to Sajid Khan’s descending career.
