Salman Khan’s Jai Ho All Set For A Road Block!

Jai-Ho-Poster1

Salman Khan is doing all that he can to ensure that a lot of hype is created around his next release Jai Ho. Starting from the time its gone on floor to its first trailer launch, Jai Ho has been the talk of the town and will keep going on till its release.

Salman for the first time invited his fans on a social networking site to create the poster of the movie and the results are out for everyone to see.

Now, when the time came to launch the first trailer of Jai Ho, Salman again made an announcement that he would not want to release the first look of his film in a usual press conference but would want to be with the common man and make them the part of the entire process. For this Salman was supposed to ask his fans to join him at the trailer launch at Chandan Cinema in Juhu, but then at the last minute the plans were cancelled.

Today, December 12, 2013 is the date that’s now set to launch the trailer of Jai Ho and once again Salman has pulled off an ace from his sleeve. The first look of Jai Ho would be simulcast all across the Star Network at the dot of 9PM.

This is something what we term as ROAD BLOCK. Taking a road block on a channel group is one of the big marketing ideas by the makers. They are keen to cater to the wide television network and even in that Star is one of the leading groups. An idea like this, was effectively tapped so far by Shah Rukh Khan, with Star Network, for his film: My Name Is Khan.

Jai Ho is Salman Khan’s release after a long wait of more than a year. Since one year Salman’s fans are waiting for his film. His last release was Dabbang 2 on December 21, 2012. Prior to that was Yash Raj Films’ Ek Tha Tiger where he was paired opposite Katrina Kaif and the film was directed by Kabir Khan.

Year 2014 will see two releases – Jai Ho and Kick. Jai Ho, directed by Sohail Khan, produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, is slated to release on January 24, 2014.
