After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan is garnering all the limelight for his upcoming production film ‘Hero’ starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles. As the film is nearing to its release, the makers of the film recently organized Hero music concert with the entire team on the panel in Mumbai.
All the highlight of the film was Salman Khan’s song Main Hoon Hero Tera which had been sung by him. The actor also performed live at the concert with singer Armaan Malik.
Apart from the hard-hitting promotions, the film is all into news for the kissing scenes. There were reports that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor edited the 30 minutes including a kissing scene.
Asking on the same, the actor in an interview said, “Yes, there are no kissing scenes in the film. We wanted to put one, but they refused. I myself haven’t done one, so how can I ask them to do. I don’t think anyone— whether it’s Nikhil (director Nikhil Advani) or Sooraj and Athiya, are interested in kissing. Why do you want to see someone else kiss? Kiss yourself.”

The Being Human star also said that how it feels on established stars promoting newcomers could work against the movie. He said, “It (established actor promoting newcomers) could also turn other way round Salman is producing the film but not acting in it. It could work against us.”
“If Karan Johar or Aditya Chopra would launch newcomers, then people would want to see that film of newcomers. I am here promoting is a big scare,” he added.
Talking about film ‘Hero’, the film will mark the debut of Sooraj and Athiya in the film industry; the movie is co-produced by Salman Khan along with Subhash Ghai. Directed by Nikhil Advani ‘Hero’ will hit the screens on September 11, 2015.
The film is about a boy and a girl who get stuck in a whirlpool of such intense love that they would do anything and go to any extent and face all odds for the one they love. Athiya Shetty plays the role of daughter of formidable chief police while Sooraj Pancholi plays the role of poor boy who has raised himself on unforgiving Mumbai streets.
