MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s Dabangg continued its unabated run at the box office after smashing all opening weekend records.
As was previously reported by Businessofcinema.com, the movie did net business of approximately Rs 480 million (Rs 48 crore) in its opening weekend, breaking 3 Idiots’ record by a margin of Rs 100 million (Rs 10 crore).
On Monday, Dabangg collected Rs 102.50 million (Rs 10.25 crore) at the box office in India. 3 Idiots’ Monday net collections were Rs 110 million (Rs 11 crore).
On the other hand, Tuesday’s net collections stood at Rs 80 million (Rs 8 crore). The five days net business of Dabangg is now a whopping Rs 662.50 million (Rs 66.25 crore).
