Sana Khan, who got popular post her stint in a season of Bigg Boss, says it’s really hard for her to understand the big deal that is made out of intimate scenes in the movie.
Sana’s upcoming movie is an erotic crime thriller which also stars Sharman Joshi and television heartthrob Gurmeet Choudary called Wajah Tum Ho. The steamy and sexy scenes in the trailer have already become the talk of the town. The trailer has crossed 12.5 million views on YouTube in a week.
“I find it weird when industry people talk like ‘that kind of scenes’. Today, every single movie has a kissing scene. I don’t know why there is so much noise on doing intimate scenes,” she said.
“There are so many films which have steamy scenes. Nobody puts a question on them.”
The Halla Bol actress thinks the people in India are ready for such scenes and it shouldn’t be considered a taboo anymore. She said, “It was part of the story. Today, we are open to western culture. We love to see Hollywood movies so much. When we are so open about everything, it is weird to raise brows on intimate scenes.”
Talking about getting stereotyped, she said “When I signed the film, people said I might be categorised in a certain way. They said the same when I entered ‘Big Boss’. Every actor has a different journey. Whatever I’ve done, it has turned out positive for me because I’ve done it with the right intention.”
On exploring as an actor she said, “As an actress, I always want to do new things. I have done a small role in ‘Jai Ho’. It was a negative character and now audience will see me in a proper role in the two and a half hours movie. I think that’s growth.”
Directed by Hate Story 3 helmer Vishal Pandya, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 2, 2016. The forthcoming movie also stars Rajneesh Duggal.
